Who is responsible
Maplehorizonscandi Monitoring Ltd is the controller for personal information we receive through correspondence about this website. Our registered office is 35 Park Street, Leeds, LS1 2PW, United Kingdom; company no. 14750293. Contact [email protected] for privacy enquiries.
Reading the site
Delivering a webpage necessarily involves technical information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser connection information. Hosting and security providers may process access records to deliver the site, diagnose faults and protect it against misuse. We do not use the field-guide scripts to create advertising profiles, run analytics or collect stadium telemetry.
Technical information is processed where necessary for our legitimate interests in providing and securing the website, subject to applicable law and your rights. We do not sell visitors' personal information.
The work-note composer
The contact composer builds plain text in your browser. Its script does not upload your entries or store them in cookies or local storage. Copy uses your browser's clipboard permission; Download creates a text file on your device. Your browser may independently retain form entries or restore a page session according to its settings.
Preparing, copying or downloading a note does not send it to us. If you later send it by email, the message passes through your chosen email service and our email provider. Do not include sensitive personal data, player health information, passwords or confidential venue records.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive your address, the message and any information you choose to include. We use this to handle your enquiry, consider corrections and maintain relevant correspondence. The usual legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to communications and maintaining an accurate website. Legal obligations may require some records to be retained.
We retain correspondence only as long as needed for its purpose, related follow-up and legitimate record-keeping or legal requirements. We review information for deletion when it is no longer necessary. Retention depends on the subject and any applicable legal duties rather than a single period for every message.
Providers and transfers
Hosting, security and email providers may process information on our behalf. Disclosure may also be necessary to comply with law or protect legal rights. Where a provider processes personal information outside the United Kingdom, applicable transfer safeguards are required, such as adequacy arrangements or approved contractual protections.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of personal information, object to processing based on legitimate interests and exercise data-portability rights where they apply. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email us to exercise a right. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office. Contacting us first is welcome but not required before making a complaint.
Browser storage and changes
Read the Cookies page for the distinction between cookies, browser storage and the local composer. This notice may be updated when the site's operation changes. The effective date identifies the current notice.
